ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Henri
Sorensen has illustrated twenty-three books for children, among them I
Love You As Much, written by Laura Krauss Melmet. He is the
author-illustrator of two children's picture books, New Hope and
Your First Step. The Yellow Star is his first
collaboration with Carmen Agra Deedy and Peachtree Publishers.
A native of Denmark, Henri lives with his wife Lise in Aarhus, Denmark.
They have two daughters, Mathilde, who is twenty-four years old, and
Alexandra, who is fifteen.
